Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Vanessa Workman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art and an Associate Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy. After relocating to San Francisco, she balanced her medical career with freelance art work, all while exploring her passion for travel. Her adventures have taken her across Mexico, Central America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
A short-term contract in a Singapore hospital brought her to Southeast Asia, where she chose to step away from medicine to pursue more creative endeavors. She is now based in Langkawi, Malaysia, from where she continues to explore Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Burma, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and other destinations on her travel bucket list. Vanessa is passionate about writing, blogging, and social media.
